I love travelling: a three months career break (June/Sept 2000) saw me through Australia, Solomon Islands, New Zealand, United States and Italy. In October 2002 we spent three weeks around the world on our honeymoon. Scuba diving is my ideal holiday plan.
I like art, cinema, music and theatre, reading and writing. I have just graduated for an MA in Medieval Cutlures. I found myself being an early medievalist and I wish to pursue my knowledge on Early Medieval Southern Italy. I am in love with romanesque art, especially frescoes. I am an admin for a couple of Flickr Groups dedicated to Medieval art.
I support a lot of charities including the British Skin Foundation, the Shark Trust, the Marine Conservation Society, Cancer Research UK. I am a 'friend' of the Imperial War Museum, English Heritage and the British Museum.
Scuba diving, not being a competitive activity, cannot be called 'sport'. Nevertheless, I am addicted to it. I also enjoy going to the gym as often as I can.
I used to dance a lot ...I have been an event organiser for our Lindy hop group and created the successful website.
I am a blue belt in KickBoxing and I love motorcycles and classic Minis.
I have also set up a small business, making hand made, home made natural, palm oil free soap - profits go to Orangutan Appeal UK. Visit Monkey Leaf for more informaiton.
